Yes! I am blessed! Yes! Yes! Yes! This should be our answer. If we trust the Lord, we are blessed. He is busy seeing to our success, deliverance, restoration, peace, joy, and everything good!

He has promised this, and He cannot fail or lie. So, when we are confused, or discouraged, hopeless; we are not helpless. We are blessed. When we do not have what we want, we are blessed!

So, our answer is yes, because God says so!  If we will consider our ways and our circumstances from the understanding that we are blessed, we put ourselves in a position allowing God to take care of the rest.

Think about the ways that God took care of the people in the bible. Think of how He delivered and protected them. When an army surrounded the prophet, there was a bigger army surrounding that army. When Paul was in prison an earthquake broke the chains, and for Peter, an Angel led him out.

Lame walked, deaf talked, dead were raised, and lepers were cleansed. Nothing is impossible for God. Are you blessed? Of course, you are. God is for you. No weapon formed against you can prosper. Whatever comes against you is in trouble.

I went to bed and as my head hit the pillow, God simply said; “Are you blessed?” My quick response was, yes!

Had the day been great? It did not matter. Was everything perfect? It did not matter. Was there anything troubling me? It did not matter. God did not ask me to list what I needed. He did not ask me if everything was going according to my plans. He asked me a simple question, so I gave Him my simple answer. Yes!

My answer pretty much ended any concerns that I might list or requests that I might have been considering. Instead, it became my declaration. Yes, I am blessed! Because I am blessed then I know that this or that is in His hands. Because I am blessed, this or that will be taken care of. Because I am blessed, Lord, I know that you know what I am going to ask before I ask. Because I am blessed, I know that your promises never fail.

If we can put what we know in front of what we do not know, then we know that He knows, and well, we are blessed! We are not blessed, but this or that. We are simply blessed. This is a simple devotion. Don’t try to complicate it.

The fact that we are blessed is not something that we have to chew on, it is something we need to swallow whole and let it do its thing. Have you ever chewed on a pill that had a warning, not to? The urge at that point is to spit it out. Let this truth simply flow through your system. You are blessed. God says so. Trust Him!
