Enough! I have had enough of this! Have you ever said this? What did you mean when you said it? It is pretty clear when we come to that declaration that something needs to change.

When we read the Word of God, we see that it only takes three chapters for man to get booted from the Garden, and three more chapters for God to declare that He would destroy man. He said, “I am sorry that I have made them.” (vs. 7) But then, Noah found favor with God! Praise the Lord!

I believe it is time that we say enough and start walking like we care about being in favor with God. The Bible says that judgement will begin with the house of God. If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and turn from their wicked ways. We have heard the verse. We have declared the verse. Have we said, “Enough”?

Have we seen enough and understood enough to scream, enough? It is not ok for the church to go along with and blend in with what goes on in the world. When something is evil, it is evil. We are not supposed to find a way to make what is wrong comfortable in the body of Christ.

God must be looking and saying, “here we go again!”

We ended last year, determined to be faithful ones. A good start to being faithful is determining to take a stand for the goodness of God. I do not need to list what is not ok. I could not begin to name everything; we have Holy Spirit to do that. But some obvious things that God is seeing are worth a mention. Abortion, not on His ok list. He made man and woman and blessed marriage of the same. He was clear about how to mate. He was also clear that was able to give us sound minds and understanding if we would only look to Him. If believers will not say enough and stand for what is right and only what is right, how will the world come to God?

We need to speak the truth. We need to stand for the truth. We need to stand against what is not truth. We need to speak to these mountains of unrighteousness and are stealing and killing and destroying souls every day.

People need the true love of God. They need to see it so clearly that they cannot help but want it. Every person who calls themselves a follower and lover of God needs to stand and say enough! It is our business to be about the Lord’s business! God is patient and kind and does not want anyone to perish, but the day will come when the trumpet sounds.

As it was in the days of Noah, no one wanted to believe the end would come. It will come and many will miss the boat.

Personally, it makes me sad just thinking about that. I have enjoyed so much of the goodness of God, and I can see how miserable it is to be without Him. I can see the anger and misery in the lives of those who are trying to convince themselves that living like anything goes is the best way. Jesus came to show us the way so we could show the way. Standing aside is not enough!
