I AM HERE

If I do his work, believe in the evidence of the miraculous works I have done...Then you will know and understand that the Father is in me, and I am I the Father. (John 10:38 NLT)

Jesus certainly accomplished more than enough right before the people’s eyes for them to believe and not doubt, and yet they did doubt. The disciples were continually amazed and confused as they followed Jesus about. He would explain things clearly to them and yet it just did not seem to sink in. We might think we would have been different had we been there, but if we are honest, we would have to admit that we still do the same thing.

Recently the Lord spoke during worship saying, “I am here, it is enough!” Wow how big is that statement? As I have pondered that since, I thought of many times when the Lord would come upon a scene and make that declaration. When Lazarus died, Jesus came and He was enough. They could not grasp what he was telling them, so finally He showed them, but oh how I think He would have loved it, if Martha or Mary would have ran to Him saying, “Lazarus is dead, but we knew when you got here you would raise him up!”

When there were thousands to feed, Jesus said that He was enough and He fed them. You would think after doing this once, the disciples would have known that He could do it again. When the people came to be healed, He was enough. When the demon possessed came He delivered them. When a woman’s son was dead and they were having the funeral, Jesus was enough. When little children ran to Him, He was enough.

Jesus is always, more than enough. We just need to believe Him. In this scripture He encourages them to just look at the evidence. We have more than enough evidence to believe that nothing is impossible with God and yet it is up to us to choose to believe. Truly what we believe affects us and that in turn affects others.

“You are enough Lord.” That is what I am saying to Him and to myself. In fact, He is more than enough. He said, “I am with you always.” “I will not leave you as orphans.” He promised that He and Holy Spirit were going to tag off and that when He, the Holy Spirit came into the ring; He was going to lead us into all truth.

Now the Holy Spirit says, “Jesus is here! It is enough!” How He longs to comfort us. I can just imagine how good He feels when we trust Him, and declare just how great, powerful, loving, merciful, and perfect He is.

We need to desire to make our Father proud. We need to brag on Jesus and follow Holy Spirit into all truth. Blessed be the Lord God Almighty. He is here. It is enough!
