He is alive! He is not just an idea; He is the ideal. He is the savior of the world. There is no God like our God. In the Old Testament, 2 Samuel 7:22, David prayed and said “How great you are, O Sovereign Lord! There is no one you. We have never even heard of another God like you!” Truly, there is now God that compares to our Father, Son, and Holy Spirit!

Everything He says, we can trust! Blessed are the people who put their trust in the Lord. In my heart, that is where the Lord desires to live. When we call, He comes with a new heart. Today is the day we dwell on that special day when they discovered the empty tomb. That tomb was sealed to keep the truth from coming out. God broke the seal so we could see that it was empty.

The angel told them to come and see where He had been. Where is He to you? Is He maybe up there or out there somewhere. Is He entombed in some religious idea? Is he locked away because of some disappointment in your life? Are you ready to look? Are you ready to be free?

Just like He said, if you call on Him, He will answer. When I was a child, our family attended the Passion play in the Black Hills. I really do not have many memories of that except when the tomb was opened. The place had become dark and then they did not roll the stone it sounded more like it was knocked open and there was a gigantic boom as the rock landed. The sound echoed and lots of people, including me, were startled to say the least. I probably yelled or something.

It was impressive to say the least. Each year, I am even more impressed. Each year I am challenged to draw nearer to my blessed Lord. Each year I see bigger things in smaller things.

I found myself caught up in David’s statement asking, how great are you O God? We hear all sorts of nonsensical claims from people who try to claim that any god will do. We do not all serve the same God. The truth is that we have never even a heard of another God like the true God.

No other religion has a living savior. Only the devil attempts to indwell people. He is no match for Jesus. Jesus is alive! Just like He said. He dwells in us and speaks to us. His words are alive and they give life.

The world is full of people looking for life. If we believe in Christ, we have the Life they are looking for. What a joy it is to show God off. Put Him on display in your life. Show the way. Lift up the name of Jesus.

Call out to Him and ask Him to open doors for those who are locked up in unbelief. The leap from death to life is so simple. There is no place too far for God to reach us. He always does as He says!
