LIVE YOUR LIFE
As for you Daniel, go and live your life until the end. You will get your rest. At the end you will rise from death and receive your share of the promise. (Daniel 12:13 ERV)
Go and live your life till the end. This was God’s word to Daniel, and I believe it is His word to us as well. Live the life that God has given to us all. Daniel had future promises and this confirmed that it was beyond his life time, still God told him to go and live his life. We now have the promise that was promised to Daniel in the person of Jesus Christ, who is the blessed hope and the promise of God.
Daniel’s life was wrapped up in God and in seeking God; therefore, God assured him what was to come. God has assured us as well. He wants us to live our lives. He wants to enjoy every aspect of life. The important key here is that we are to live the life that Christ has promised. Paul spoke of a life that was hid with Christ in God. He said that he died and that the life He now lived was not his life but it was Christ living in him.
Honestly, once we experience the life that Christ gives we fully understand this. There is a peace that comes with God’s presence and we are privileged to be touched by that peace often in our lives even before we know Him. I cannot express fully enough how important it is that seek and pursue that peace.
Recognizing the best part is the best part. It allows us to live our lives. When we come to understand that God gave us life so that we could live abundantly, there is a true peace. The abundance is Him. Yes we are promised an abundance of His presence. Life is Christ. Everything we do or say or experience is best with Him. Sorrow turns to joy in Him. Troubles turn to triumphs in Him. Whatever is not good is made good by Him and in Him, because He is good.
The more we enter into this covenant relationship with God, the more we understand that He has given us a life to live in Him. I do not need to wonder what He wants me to do or where He wants me to be; I need to simply make myself aware of the fact that I daily live my life in Him.
Lord, here I am living my life today. I am available. I trust you to guide me into anything you have in mind as I live my life. I expect my share of the promise. I expect you to show up and show off often throughout this day. My life is wrapped up in you so watch me closely to make sure I bring you glory as I live this wonderful life. Help us all to learn to enjoy you and enjoy the life that is only in You. Amen.
