Has it ever occurred to you that you are prime example, the perfect one, and the one that is the best fit for someone else to see Jesus? Well, you are, so you better be ready. There are lots of people in this world that are looking for you!

Paul said that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners and that he was the worst one. But hey that was why God had mercy on him, so that Jesus could show the whole world just how patient He is. You and I are just like Paul. We were the worst before Jesus came into our lives, but now we are the best example to show any number of someone’s that God loves them too.

Look at it this way. Perhaps you have gone to church all your life, and then one day you realize that going to church won’t save you. You realize that you were just plain religious and thought you were good enough, but now that you know better, there are lots of folks out there that can relate to you because they are where you were.

Now on the other hand, a person like that would not be a very perfect fit for some one who is hooked on drugs or alcohol or an immoral life style. However, someone who has been where they are is the perfect fit.

We need to understand that God saved us for a purpose. First of all, He saved us so that we could know and worship Him. Secondly, He saved us so that we could be revelations of His great mercy and His power to change lives.

What is it that makes you a prime example? What was it in your life before you came to know Christ that others can best identify with? Believe me, there are people all around you who are right where you were before your eyes opened and you received God’s great mercy.

Maybe you were successful and comfortable with everything in your life, and suddenly you realized you needed something more. Maybe you failed at everything you did and finally cried out to God and he raised you up. Maybe you were sick and He healed you afraid and He brought peace into your life.

What is the particular thing that God did that makes you a prime example. Don’t think for a minute that there is nothing. Ask God to open your eyes to see what sort of people are looking for you. Yes you are the one that God chose to shine His light through. Isn’t it exciting to consider that no one else can do it quite like you?
