We are alive thanks to the Light! Give thanks to the Lord! Even when we walked in darkness it was thanks to the Light that we had life. It is true to say that without Him; we would not be. By His grace the light shines in the darkness waiting for us to see.

As I prayed, I was overcome by joy and gratitude for all that the Lord has done. As I thanked Him and sought Him concerning what I could do, He said, “I want you.” Then He said to tell the people that I want them. So, close your eyes and imagine the Lord sitting down beside you and patting you on the back and embracing you and saying to you, “I want you. I just want you.”

That my friends is light. That truth is the light that gives us life. Without Him we do not know the life that the Light intends for us to experience. The light is always shining even in the darkest of places, because the light stayed.

In fact, the light has been getting brighter since Jesus rose from the dead. The darker things appear, the more intense the light becomes, because the darkness cannot win. Don’t think for a minute that the light is losing power. He is present. He is power. He alone deserves glory and honor and Praise.

The Lord lives. Blessed be the Rock of our salvation. Yes indeed. Can you feel His presence rising as you think upon Him and rejoice in the Light? Oh, praise the Lord.

So, the light never has and never will go out. No matter how thick the clouds are, the light is shining. When we are down, the light is waiting to raise us up. There is always revival in the light. Every time a person looks to the light, there is revival in the land. Every time, heaven responds with reverberating praise as God in His kingdom rejoices.

Not only that, but every time you shine and reveal the light heaven rejoices. We are told to become like children so we can see and appreciate the light. Think of a child who is holding a light in their hand, and they are trying to figure out how to get it to light up. Then, they hit the button and the light comes on. They are filled with joy, and they just want to keep turning the light on.

Jesus tells us that we are the light of the world. Oh, the joy of turning that light on! It is so good when we do what we know is right. It is so exciting when we overcome the darkness with light. As we are transformed by the renewing of our minds, we experience greater and greater freedom.

Don’t get caught up in wondering where God is; we know simply that God is! And we know that He rewards those who trust in Him. God is never absent. He never tries to confuse us.  He is always the same. He responds to our calls as we respond to His light.

Jesus is the light of the world. Nothing can change that. No amount of darkness can stop Him, and no amount of darkness can defeat you. Remember the light that gives you life. Look to the light. The light is always fresh and refreshing. Walk in the light. He is shining!
