THE POWER OF LIFE

It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you--"unless of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place. (1 Corinthians 15:2 NLT)

It seems that more and more I find myself with mixed emotions as I meet with the Lord. First I am overjoyed to be privileged to come boldly to bow before Him tell Him I thankful and amazed I am that I can. I seldom if ever come to Him without thinking what a miracle my salvation is. At the same time, my heart is heavy thinking of those who are as deceived as I was before and even more so at the level of the intentional deception that goes on now.
I don’t remember there ever being attempts in school at any level to discredit the gospel. Perhaps I just did not pay attention. Today, it is obvious that the enemy is on wide open war path. This of course is no surprise to those who love the Lord, but still it is sad.
Because of this, it is all the more important that we who love God stand strong in our faith. Every believer needs to turn up their dedication. No one can hang in the shadows trying not to be noticed. We must stand for the Good News of Jesus Christ. We must choose what is right and encourage others to do the same. It is not about us and our comfort and what pleases us, it is about Him and what pleases Him. It is His kingdom first.
This is in fact foolishness to those who are perishing. I am not perishing! I pray you are boldly declaring the same thing. The Good News that saves us is the Good News that keeps us. I am certain that everyone is tired the news that surrounds us every day from every form of media; thank God for the Good News of the Gospel.
We who know God have good news. We have hope. We have help. We have confidence and assurance. We have life and health to offer. We have power when we pray. We can bring peace and hope to any circumstance, because we are empowered by faith in Jesus Christ and the indwelling Holy Spirit.
This is the message that we have been told isn’t it. Before Jesus came into our lives, I imagine we all believed something that was never true in the first place. But this is no longer the case. If we do not know the truth, we can! If you are reading this you can know Jesus more and better than you know Him now. If you are reading this, there are others that you know that do not know the Good News and you can share hope with them.
You have power in your life. Every person to loves God has the power to turn on the light for others. We need only to desire to light up the darkness. We are not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ. We know where the hope of the world is. It is in Him. Be ready to show the way to those who are in need. You provide the desire to share; God will show you and give you the words.
