There is one thing that I have always loved since coming to know the Lord, and that is as long as I am in His word, I know that I am right. God’s Word is something that we can be completely sure of. I don’t say that with some arrogant need to always be right, because I am not always right. However, God’s word is always right and as long as I am walking in it, then I can have confidence that I am right.

It is true that God’s Word has been thoroughly tested. It has been under the microscope forever, and no one can find error in it. Many may take exception to it, but there are no holes in it. Even when people think they have found the thing that is going to prove it wrong, they only end up discovering that they have once again proven it to be true. Oh yes, let God be true and every man a liar.

There are numerous theories and beliefs out there that can hardly pass any tests, and yet people prefer them to the truth of God’s word. But it really does not matter what we prefer, the “Truth” is the only thing that can set us free. That is why I love the fact that as long as I stand on God’s word I know that I am in the right place, trusting the right person.

Believe me, I know that there are battles in the Christian realm as to how we prefer to interpret the Word of God, but there again we are talking about preferences rather than what the Word really says. If one person prefers not to believe in healing, well then, let them stay sick. As long as they love God, He won’t be mad at them. However, if they don’t like someone who does believe in healing, that would be a problem. Or perhaps another prefers not to believe in the prosperity that God offers, well that is fine, but they should not hold it against someone else who prefers to believe that God has provided that in His word. He did after all say, “Now let the poor say I am rich!”

You see, all of God’s Word has proven itself to be true, and we should desire to walk in the whole counsel of God. What if we just decided to learn from one another rather than pick one another apart! I have always said that if someone loves Jesus, we have something in common that we can talk about in complete agreement!

When we as Christians decide to simply believe God, we will see Him manifest Himself in greater and greater ways. We will see the Word alive in our midst and better yet, the world will see the Living Word. Then people will see it and wonder how they can have it rather why should they want it. Oh yes, you know it is true that many people look at Christianity and want nothing to do with it because of the people who say they are Christians. We should not be the poor, sick, complaining, and defeated, we should be the healthy, prosperous, content and victorious people that God has declared us to be. God help us all to fill in the blanks in our lives with the answers that have already been proven true.
