TWO MINUTES

And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in His son.(1 John 5:11)

Do you have the Son? This is not hate speech. This is not to judge anyone. This is the very most important question that every person needs to answer. Christmas is coming. Christmas is about the birth of our savior. This also is not hate speech. This is not condemning anyone or judging anyone, it is simply a fact.
Have you ever wondered why this has become offensive to people? Does it trouble you that those of us who believe this are somehow supposed to feel guilty for even suggesting such a thing? How did we go from believe what you want, to believe anything but the truth? Think about it.
It started with a watering down and a suggestion that Jesus may not be the only way, and we ignored it until people bought into believing that it would be wrong to offend anyone by warning them to watch out for such things. It did not happen overnight, it was a well plotted plan by the enemy and now here we are.
It seems it is okay to believe anything but the truth. If we believe the truth, we better hide it. We dare not suggest that sin is sin. It is does not matter if we who believe are offended, we just should not offend others. Hey, the gospel is an offense to those who are perishing. It was to me!
I am not one bit sorry to say that I refuse to be user friendly. People are being used by the devil under this very guise. Don’t take a stand for life. Don’t take a stand for what is morally right or against what is morally wrong. Don’t suggest that Jesus is the only way. If you do these things, you are just wrong. But cut off someone’s head for daring to refuse to convert and that is not so bad! Seriously, are we going continue to put up with this?
Jesus was everything no one expected Him to be. He was born of a virgin. He did walk on water. He did come to save sinners. He was crucified, died, buried, and raised from the dead. He is the only way to life everlasting. He loves more than we can comprehend.
One other thing; He is offensive. He offended everyone who did not want to believe the truth. He offended kings when he was still a baby. He offended the most religious people of His time every time He opened his mouth. Interestingly, the most religious people respond to him the same way today because it requires a relationship to understand the truth.
What does this all have to do with two minutes? Well, take two minutes to think about this. Take two minutes to focus on Jesus. Take two minutes to stand for the truth when faced with the lies. Take two minutes to share the Joy Jesus gives you. Two minutes can change everything. Do you have two minutes? That question might open the door to life for someone.
