WHEN YOU KNOW YOU KNOW

For nothing is impossible with God. (Luke 1:37 NLT)

Things change when we know for sure. Mary told the angel she was good with whatever the Lord wanted. I think she agreed but she still wondered how the whole thing was going to work out. She had some really good information, but still it was a little mind boggling! Then one day, she knew! I suspect that was a wow day; the day she was in fact pregnant!

If we can believe all things are possible, it is a good thing. Knowing all things are possible is even a better thing. We are told in the word of God to hold on to what we know. We all have experienced those know moments. We have had those times when we know that only God could have done what was done. We need to hold on to those so that we can replay them as reminders for the current situation.

Mary had the virgin birth to hold her together all the way the time she saw her son on the cross. Paul had his blinding experience to keep him going through many things. These are the times that transform our hopeful believing into absolute knowing.

Nothing is impossible with God! He will see us through. He will carry us. He will strengthen us. He said what He would do and we can know it is true.

Each day we have opportunities to grow in what we know. When we praise Him because He is and suddenly He is present, we know He was present before we started praising and He confirms what we know.

This time leading up to our celebration of His birth is a great time to consider what we know and determine to know Him more. It is a great time to reflect on our personal relationship with this one true God.

Truly, it changes everything when we know. When God first invaded my life, I only knew that there was more to know that I had ever suspected. I was determined to know more. Mostly I wanted to know for sure that I was safe. The day that I came to know that all of my sins were gone for good was a great day. Along with knowing that came a deeper desire to know Him and it seems that desire has only grown. Oh, give thanks to the Lord. I just have to praise Him. Glory to God!

Sometimes, you just have to take a praise break you know? I was thinking about Mary and the news she received and I wondered if she ran to Joseph to tell him or if she waited until she knew for sure. We know that later they both pondered some things in their hearts. What we know can carry us through the best and worst of times. The key is to KNOW!
