YOU BE THE ONE

Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes," (Mark 9:23 NKJ)

There are a lot of you do its’ in the Bible. You go and make disciples. You forgive. You believe. You can do all things. You trust. Well that is a short list, but the bottom line is, we have been given everything we need in order to accomplish all that God has set up for us to do and be.
Yes, the empowering presence of God (grace) supplies our every effort. So, what will we do? What will we be? Will we be willing to be made willing?
Often times instead of believing and doing what the word of God says, we question the word of God. It is one thing to want to understand, but it is quite another thing to question if it is true.
What if we would just decide to be the one to who does what it says? You be the one to receive salvation. This is where it starts. Jesus has offered the kingdom to all, so we take it.
You be the one to choose life. You choose to love God and His righteousness and hate whatever comes against it. You be the one to believe that He is greater in all circumstance. When darkness surrounds you, you be the one to choose the light of the world.
You be the one to pray and believe. You be the one to believe the report of the Lord. All around us are troubles and trials that allow us to practice our faith.
Yes, it takes practice! You be the one to get up ten times if you fall down nine. Each time, you praise God even more. You don’t give up and you don’t give in. You praise and praise and praise the Lord again.
You be the one who wins, the one who overcomes. You be the one who does not believe that you will fall or fail. Yes, you be the one to choose what is right. Yes you can! You can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. You be the one who believes that. Jesus said that if we abide in Him then we will know the truth and the truth will make us free. You be the one who is free. Say it out loud. “I am free.”
There is song that says, “I am free to run, I am free to dance, I am free to follow Jesus, I am free!” You be the one!
When temptation comes, you be the one who overcomes it. When prayer is needed, you be the one to pray. When everyone else is afraid or in doubt, you be the one who does not fear and spreads assurance and confidence. When someone needs to be encouraged, you be the one.
Paul said, “I am what I am because of Him.” You be the one who believes that Jesus started the good work in you and that He will complete it. Simply live in Jesus. You be the one.
