There is nothing like being amazed with God. I mean just amazed with who He is. If a person has never been amazed with Him, I do not see how they can possibly say they know Him. How many people have sung amazing grace and never been amazed? I have no idea how many times I sang it before I understood how amazing He is.

God is amazing and we should be continually amazed by Him. Take a breath. That in its self can amaze us when we understand that it is in Him that we live and move and have our being. One thing faith in God does is help us to give credit where credit is due.

So think about it. Are you amazed with God? When was the last time you were amazed by God? I believe He does the amazing much more often than we recognize it. The more we learn to recognize Him, the more often we are amazed. The dictionary defines amaze as bewilder, perplex, to fill with wonder, astound, and or surprise. Many people spend more time bewildered and perplexed, than astounded and filled with wonder. This is because the enemy prefers that we be confused. Remember how he confused Eve with double talk?

As long as people leave God way out there somewhere, they will never be really amazed with Him. This is because He remains a mystery, so we can really never know or be sure about Him. Then even when He does something amazing we cannot really recognize or appreciate it. God heals and people rave about doctors. Think about it.

God should not be relegated to honorable mention or last resort in our lives. He deserves more than a foot note. After all, He is doing amazing things for us continually. He started doing amazing things for us long before we were born. That is why His grace is amazing. That is why He wants us to ask Him and trust Him. He wants us to be amazed with Him so that we can be amazed by Him.

Only an amazing God can make a difference. All the other gods are powerless and useless. The Father of our Lord Jesus Christ is amazing. Our Lord Jesus Christ is amazing. The Holy Spirit is amazing. If you are not amazed by God, you cannot possibly know God or you really need to know Him better!

If you have ever been amazed by God but it has been a long time since you were last amazed, then you have lost your fire. You need a close encounter with Him. You need to hit the refresh button. You need to splash living water in your face and clear your eyes. We all need to shake off the cob webs on occasion and this would be a good day to praise Him until we are amazed once again. He is amazing and awaits the opportunity to amaze each and every one of us. Thank you Lord!
